New Rivers

   My ways are strange to you, and My deeds are unknown to those whose hearts have not been touched by My grace.

   I seek and search out and find those whose ways are subject to Me and whose hearts are inclined toward Me.

   I will fill them with My presence and give them a measure of joy and peace that will cause thanksgiving and praise to well up from deep within.

   No longer will they fear to give thanks to Me in the presence of My enemies. They will simply testify to My mercies and show forth the mighty deeds of God.

   Open your hearts to Me and incline your ways to Me, that I might come to you and fill you and change you and burst forth from you in great rivers of joy and peace.

   Then, thanksgiving will no longer be a labor for you. It will spontaneously issue forth from wells that are filled by your sincere knowledge of My mercies.
